The past winter was extremely difficult for all of us, especially for children who did not have suitable winter clothing for the frigid weather conditions.

Background

The coat drive began in 2014 as a result of the extremely harsh winter. Through The Children’s Breakfast Club, the coat drive continues to be an annual success. Coats are distributed to families in need to ensure no child in Ontario is cold during the winter.

Organized Interiors is working with community members and customers to ensure the success of this coat drive. We encourage you to drop off clothing donations at Carquest Auto Parts locations so they reach families without delay.

Your donation will help us to ensure that no child in Ontario is cold this winter.

How you can help

  1. Drop off your donation at the Carquest location near you.
  2. Help with a monetary donation. Make the Children’s Breakfast Club your personal and/or corporate charity of choice. A tax receipt will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
  3. Spread the word. Tell your family and friends. Share this page on social media.

Clothing items

While the initiative centres around coats, other warm clothing items such as hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, hoodies, and sweaters are also appreciated. All sizes, from children to adults, are welcome. In addition, clothing for youth entering the job market would also greatly help. This includes dress clothing, suits, ties, shirts, polo shirt, and footwear such as dockers.
